Our event will celebrate the best of San Juan: antiques, garage sales, pancake breakfast, chickens, good food & drink, family fun & entertainment. In addition to the many vendor booths, we hope folks will also support our local economy by shopping in the varied stores in town and savoring our many hospitality sites.<\/p>\n Guests of this event can look forward to shopping for bona fide antiques, collectibles, memorabilia, and nostalgia (items produced prior to 1975)<\/strong>.\u00a0 We invite you to participate in this show IF your booth sells only<\/u><\/strong> items that are true antiques, collectibles or handcrafted artisan Items. Thank you for supporting our efforts to maintain the reputation of this show as a true outlet for authentic items.<\/p>\n Please encourage your friends in the industry to join you in participating in our show. The ambience of historic San Juan Bautista makes this a uniquely enjoyable experience that really should be shared. We would not have an event like this without you. Thank you!<\/p>\n SAN JUAN DAY REGULATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Open spaces on event blocks are determined by the City of San Juan Bautista ordinances.<\/p>\n 2. Event set-up time: 5:30 A.M.<\/p>\n 3. All vendors must send a copy of their resale number certification. Food vendors must also send a copy of the San Benito County Health Permit.<\/p>\n4. Reservation confirmation Includes: 6. Vendor vehicles: All vendor vehicles must be removed from the show streets by 8:00 a.m.<\/p>\n 7. Vendor possessions: Per the San Benito County Fire Code, all vendor items (vendor goods, packing boxes, chairs, tables, etc.) must be cleared from the show street sidewalks.<\/p>\n 8. Pop up Tents: PER CITY REGULATION: MUST HAVE 25 LB WEIGHT ON EACH LEG OR STRAP TO A TABLE: bucket of water can be used; however, please don’t waste water. Water City plants, not the street.<\/p>\n9. Vendor Vehicle Show Streets’ Re-Entry (end of event): b. August is typically hot in San Juan Bautista though sometimes mornings are cool and foggy. Afternoons are often windy.<\/p>\n c. All exhibitors must remain during the entire show. The display area must be kept neat & clean at all times.<\/p>\n d. Trash dumpsters will be available and trash pick-up will occur throughout the day. Please note: Oil from food vendors must be removed at the end of the event.<\/p>\n e. Booth space may not be resold or sub-leased.<\/p>\n f. There will be no postponement of the event due to weather or other conditions.<\/p>\n g. Spirit of San Juan Bautista & San Juan Day Committee provide all-day security but do not guarantee the safety of vendor merchandise.<\/p>\n h. \na. Confirmation Notice (to be presented to a block captain for entry to event) & Event Map
\nb. Please retain a copy of your application and check for your records and bring both to the event.\n5. Vendor vehicles entry:
\na. All vendors must show proof of registration prior to entering the show street to set-up at booth space.
\nb. Unloading for booth set-up: Please park as close as possible to assigned space on the left-hand side of the street.\n
\na. San Juan Day Committee and other volunteers are not responsible for loading items.
\nb. Vendor items must be repacked before bringing vendor vehicles on the show street for loading.
\nc. Please ask a volunteer block captain for a “Re-Entry” passage pass prior to driving your vehicle to your booth space for reloading purposes.
\nd. Loading unsold\/unused items: Please park as close as possible to assigned space.
\ne. Oversized vehicles will be instructed to wait until after 6:00 p.m. to reload.
\nf. The Block Captains may limit the number of vehicles in the event area to ensure the safety of guests, vendors, and residents.\nOther:
\na. San Juan Bautista streets have a slight crown and are rugged. Please bring materials for “shimming” tables.\n
\n\u2022 Expel vendors from the show if vendor items include reproduced goods
\n\u2022 Make last minute changes for the safety of guests as well as to accommodate vendors.
\n\u2022 Reject any application it deems inappropriate for the event and the mission of Spirit of San Juan Bautista and San Juan Day Committee.\n
